Malco Electric was founded in July 2007 by Mark LaMarra Jr. Growing up with a keen fascination of electrical “wires and plugs”, he began his electrical career in 2000 working for a couple of different local electrical contractors. After high school, Mark began a 5 year apprenticeship graduating at the top of his class. During the 4th year of his apprenticeship, he applied for and passed the NJ Electrical Contractor’s Exam. Throughout his apprenticeship, he worked for a couple large electrical contractors as a foreman. While a foreman, he completed numerous supermarket, retail, warehouse and school projects.
In January 2011, Mark decided to leave his position and operate Malco Electric full time. Through building relationships with general contractors, developers and other various clients, Malco Electric has successfully completed over 200 commercial projects and thousands of service calls. We continue to grow by keeping our employees up to date on the latest technology and training.
One of our biggest accomplishments is the fact that we have grown the business from one employee to over 20 with zero advertising. Our entire client/customer base has been formed strictly by word of mouth and customer satisfaction. We look forward to growing our company and establishing new clients.
